Lefteris Ioannou is a Greek composer based in Los Angeles.
He has a true passion for heightening the visual experience with all genres of sound, and enjoys solving musical puzzles with directors, producers and other artists.
Lefteris found music at an early age by playing guitar and performing live. With a foundation based on a diverse sound palette that revolves around classical, blues/rock and cinematic music themes, Lefteris trusts his instincts and leans on a strong sense for particular sound aesthetics to build timeless musical works. His creative mind and music intuition are constantly buzzing with new ideas and he crafts evocative narratives through music.
Through his drive and collaborative spirit, he leverages his auditory instruments to articulate emotions and elevates the human experience with music. His intricate composing abilities and his story-telling talent for visual media and performing arts have led to collaborations with a number of international artists and original compositions released by Sony-BMG, Impact Music and
Universal-EMI.
Lefteris earned a Master’s in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games, with honors from Berklee College of Music (Valencia, Spain) and is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) with a Βachelor's in Guitar Performance.
