B I O G R A P H Y

Lefteris Ioannou is a composer and musician who has led a diverse life which has taken him across continents. Born in New York and raised in Athens, Greece, he was immersed in both American and European cultures from an early age. His musical journey began as an active performer, guitarist, vocalist, and signed artist, but over time, his passion for composing storytelling music took central stage. His compositions span a wide range of styles—from orchestral and electronic to blues/rock.

 

Lefteris loves collaborating with creatives and artists who share a passion to tell impactful stories, finding great fulfillment in discovering and shaping the musical imprint that becomes integral to any creative project.

His work extends into the realms of film and visual media, with compositions released by labels such as SONY-BMG, IMPACT MUSIC, and UNIVERSAL-EMI. Lefteris holds a Master’s in Scoring for Film, TV, and Video Games with honors from Berklee College of Music (Valencia, Spain), and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) with a Bachelor in Guitar Performance.

Recognizing the power of music as a language that transcends words, Lefteris utilizes its expressive potential to communicate with audiences on a deeper level that extends traditional means of communication.

 

Underscoring his commitment to music, Lefteris co-founded Valor Projects Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a thriving music and arts scene, with a particular focus on emerging talent.
